Scholars' Programme: McDonald's Away Day

The #OFC22 Scholars came together this week for their away day kindly hosted by McDonald's UK.

The purpose of the programme is to bring together young people in the early stages of their career with peer-to-peer networking opportunities to share views and ideas, while gaining access to key skills development training on topics such as multimedia, leadership, innovation and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) training. 

Scholars participated in presentations about the McDonald's supply chain, with guest speakers from Dawn Meats and FAI Farms. After lunch, scholars participated in an interactive EDI workshop led by Babajide Fado with special guest speaker Mike Duxbury from Inclusive Farm.
