Meet the speaker: Poran Malani

Poran

Poran Malani is a marketer who has an astute perceptiveness that enables him to identify the challenges that are holding businesses back, and how to address them through clever communication.

Having worked with global brands like Coca Cola and Vodafone, he has built a track record as one of the marketing world’s great Ad Men.

His brief for his Oxford Farming Conference Frank Parkinson Lecture, is to explore how British Farming can improve its image and brand reputation through clever communication.

Poran was born in the UK, studied politics and history at Warwick University. He has returned to his native India where he runs Sir Martin Sorrell’s S4 Capital businesses, MediaMonks and MightyHive.

He says of farming, “rarely in marketing do you see an industry where reality and perception are so far apart. The opportunity to shift the debate and create a new reality of what farming is, what it is challenged with and how it fits in with the rest of the world’s goals, is immense.”

The Oxford Farming Conference will take place from 7 to 9 January 2020. To view the programme, speakers and book a ticket click here
