Politics @ Oxford - 4 January 2016

Hogan, paterson

The conference has a delivered some powerful politics sessions over recent years; including the metaphorical 10 rounds in the ring between Commissioner Phil Hogan and Owen Paterson MP ahead of the Brexit vote at last year’s conference. This year’s line-up should prove just as electric in cerebral and verbal combat.

On the opening morning of the conference, our Secretary of State the Rt Hon Andrea Leadsom MP, will address delegates who will have the opportunity to question her after the delivery of her address.

On the second morning, the politics of Brexit in the countryside will see subsidised farming critic George Monbiot, debate alongside Dame Helen Ghosh from the National Trust, NFU Deputy President Minnette Batters and a large farmer (details TBC).

The two politics session and lunch on the first day are sponsored by Massey Ferguson
